Thompsons Rd & South Gippy Freeway

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' started by SHEPPO, Aug 13, 2010.

  1. G'day all,

Spotted two hazards today on the drive to work:

    1) Heading west bound (towards Cranbourne), a large wodden framed panel of glass has come off a truck or something and smashed against the Armco on the side of the road. There is splintered chuncks of wood and glass everywhere, spilling onto the left hand wheel track.

    2) If you're going to be heading up the freeway today, north bound, watch out for one of those traffic bollards (tall orange things with the thick black base) that's positioned right in the middle of the 2 lanes on the broken white line. It's located approximately 500m north of the Pound Rd. on ramp.

    That is all.
  2. Best when driving or riding anywhere near Pound rd atm to give a good spacing between car in front due to smashed bollards and bases left where they stood
