Think twice before sending you bike overseas!!!!

  1. As the title says!!!! I've sent my bike over to Europe (Croatia). Free of cost!!! After having it there (and riding the living sh*t out of it), I was planning to get it imported legally and register it in Croatia. For the (example) value of bike, 6000 euro, it will cost you about 4500 euro to get it imported in Croatia. And this is without homologation and registration costs. My bike is sitting on a pallet waiting for return trip to Oz now. Do your calculations, and triple check, laws over there are changing on daily basis!!!! Hope this will be useful to someone!!!
