There really are some disturbing drivers out there

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by jd, Dec 7, 2005.

  1. Another highlight from the Ballarat newspaper - full article
    In summary:
AN UNLICENSED driver allegedly behind a high-speed and dangerous police chase from Wendouree to Ballarat at the weekend had a blood-alcohol level of .140 per cent, a court heard yesterday.
The 21-year-old, who has never held a driver's licence, was also alleged to have crashed into a car in Norman St and reached speeds of up to 160kmh.
Hedges lost control of his car at least three times, once propelling a pedestrian over his bonnet and once coming close to a house where a father was playing with his three children.
A short time later, Hedges drove "straight towards" a 12-year-old girl, forcing her to hide in a bush, and threw a chisel at her uncle when he came looking for her.

  2. That sounds more like drug psychosis than alcohol.....
  3. Im with you Hornet, sounds a bit like drugs and then just add alchohol.
  4. bloody country bumpkins
  5. Eswen, don't I recall reading somewhere in here that you were a farm brat?
  6. for this, he'll get a slap on the wrist, a please don't be naughty again, and off you go son...

and he'll do it again, and again, and again, and someone will die.

maybe we should ask him to go to singapore with a packet of white powder

  7. Are you sure its not the reporter thats on drugs?
Who threw the chisel? the dude driving the car or the girl? :?
  8. Loser !! As said he will get a slap on the wrist and no doubt we will hear about this clown again.
  9. If so, Eswen will be watching for any artistic releases and will start a fan club.
  10.
  11. That sounds like a great idea least he would get what he deserves :x
  12. Nah, he'll get done. Not because of the driving at pedestrians, the drunkenness, and throwing objects from a moving vehicle.

This man was speeding. He's truly screwed now.
  13. Sad but true :( I wonder how many speed cameras snapped him?
  14. we're still more stable than those loony city slickers.

I'm sure mnost drivers in Melbourne have no idea what a red light actually is for, and ndicators seem to be optional extras on all cars driven in Melbourne :)
  15. Probably none. They're all concentrated on the extremely dangerous and very busy freeways we have around the CBD.
  16. "Perhaps its a result of an anxiety" :p
  17. Nah, some people ARE just dumb.
We had a young guy at work, got pulled over high level drunk driving. Went off to court, got his fine/ suspension and agreed to pay it monthly.
Went out about 12 months later, got pulled over high level drunk drving, unlicenced, unregistered vehicle. Went to court, swore at magistrate for imposing a three year suspension and $2000 fine. Agreed to pay the fine monthly.
About 3 months ago whilst stil working for us, government called looking for their money. Were going to start garnishing his wage at 40% of weekly wage. He hadn't been paying them monthly, but had enough money to drink like a fish, smoke like a chimney and bet hundreds of dollars each weekend at the TAB.
So now THE MAN has it in for him, or that's how how tells it.
Saw him pulled over a couple of days ago...in a car.....still unlicenced......

    Regards, Andrew.
