The next wife in my life

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by Beno271, May 2, 2013.

  1. At the moment I have my M659 on the market and I'm tossing up between either an 2006 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade or 2002 Ducati Monster S4. This will be a daily commuter and I sometimes ride long distances for the weekend to see the misses who lives 200km away.

What are your experiences with the stated machines? I know a bloke at work had trouble with cornering on the old dukes and Fireblades are cheap to come by.

    Thanks guys

  2. Thanks Justus!

I'm currently looking at 2002 Ducati Monster 1000S ie and Monster S4's

What does the ie stand for? I can't find much information on the 2002 model.
  3. Italian Espresso.... :)

Personally I wouldnt commute on either of those, the cbr will be too hot in summer the ducati wont like slow work. But its not my money...i guess make sure you test it traffic.
  4. Ride them both, buy the one you like the most.

The ducati will cost more to service.
  5. My wife is an M808B Main Battle Tank, her name is Sheila
