The New Bell XR Radar Detector

  2. Legal in WA (for now), but not elsewhere (Queensland or NT possibly?).

    I've no problem with people using RDs but I'm not convinced I'd bet my own licence on one.

  4. I've had a couple of mates boast about their supposedly 'undetectable' detectors... only to have them detected by the cops' detector detector........ er...... I think. Really.

    Very, very illegal either way, in most states.

  6. Plus if they detect your detector its a substantial fine, plus your speeding fine, and they remove the detector by any means necessary, usually just yanking it out.

  7. I havent seen this model but previous incarnations of the same thing have been rubbish.
    By the time the detector has detected that you have been detected , you generally have already been detected.
    Whats the point of detecting a detection if the detection happens before the detection?

    Seems ludicrous.
