  1. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/11/05/2411288.htm

ACT Policing has released speed camera photographs of two motorcycles travelling at more than 240 kilometres per hour on Tuggeranong Parkway yesterday afternoon.

The two riders were photographed one second apart about 3:00pm AEDT.

Police say at that speed it would have taken the riders almost half a kilometre to bring their bikes to a stop.

Traffic Superintendent Mark Colbran says the riders were extremely reckless and is appealing to the public to help identify them.

"In the event of a collision, it would result in the almost certain death of the motorcyclist and anyone else involved," he said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers.

Yes, travelling 240km/h is stupid, but no one is dead, injured, hurt, whatever. So why is Canberra putting out a national call out on this one bloke done by the speed camera? Doesn't Crimestoppers have more important issues to focus on? I only wish the police went to this much effort for people bikes when they were stolen, a far greater fine than some bloke doing Mach2 down the expressway?
  2. Ah crap, it was in the general section already. Holy repost batman!
