telstra's Next G

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by _joel_, Oct 29, 2006.

  1. aaaaaalrighty,

who's crossed over to the dark side and gone with telstra's latest network "Next G" and what do you think of it?

i know there is little in the way of choice at the moment, but when i got a call from ben at the local telstra shop asking if i (being a high volume user) would trial a handset i jumped at it.
the handset in question is a samsung sgh-a501 and i am relatively happy with it.
in the last 12 months i have had an lg TD5100, a kyocera koi, 2x nokia 6255's, a motorola v3x, a kyocera slider remix. so yeah, i get around a bit :p

i use approx. 800min of mobile calls a month and after week one, i am pretty much stoked with what coverage i get here in the forgotten rural NSW.
i get the same or better coverage than CDMA and can video call my lovely wife whilst away from home and see  what she's up to :p

    anyone else made the change?
    any thoughts opinions invited
