Rivers and bikes don't mix !!
I tried to cross a river a few years ago down near Manjimup in WA after heavy rains....(just like the pic above) I didn't realise the river was so deep and my bike (DR600 Suzuki) stalled when the water was axle high.... current was too strong and washed me bike down the river... only found it 3 days later after the river level went down stuck under a log..... dragged it out with a rope and a ute, got it cleaned up, drained the oil, fuel tank, carby etc, and let it dry out for a few days.... fresh fuel and oil and a new plug and away she went !!....Happy days !!
That's Sjaak Lucassen - been posted here before but always fun to watch again.
