tach stopped workin

  1. my tach on my nsr 150sp stop workin on fri nite and hasnt started again. it looks like a mechanical tach just by lookin at it would anyone have any ideas wat goes wrong with these

  2. If it's cable driven then quite often the inner part of the cable can break - so while one end turns the other end won't.

  3. thanks i have a spare tach cable so i ll try that when i get a chance

  4. cable has probably broken, or could have come loose from the engine block... trace it back to the engine... it may have simply popped out.... check it at the back of the clock too..... if both are in place, you will need to replace the tacho cable...

    thats what you get for accellerating too fast :)

  5. yeah it was just the cable fixed it t sarv n tightned chain and also cleaned out plug now does decent first gear wheelies off band :D :D
