Sydney city parking

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by ngalbrai, May 19, 2011.

  1. Only occasionally commute to city on motorbike, prefer pushbike, parking at work easy (hickson road) but was thinking about riding to kings cross tomorrow night (friday) for a dinner. What are peoples thoughts on parking in the city at night in busy streets, do bikes get bashed over by careless drivers often? Messed with by pissed people? A mate told me a big no no in London is leaving your helmet on the bike as drunks piss in them...

  2. i lived in potts point in victoria st for 5 yrs....next to the cross.

in that time my bike 6 others in the designated bike parking was pushed over twice.....its the area itself....try off street parking if you can...
  3. My advice would be go into the secure carpark at the cross and get a ticket on your way in. Whether or not you pay is up to you.
