[SYD] Who does fabrications and stuff stuff?

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by aoeu, Apr 15, 2012.

  1. Hello

Would like some simple frame mods done to my bike, cutting the rear end, welding a steel loop on, drilling and tapping new threads for indicators, cutting a seat pan from a given template.

I thought about buying the tools and learning to do it myself but that is probably gonna be too time consuming and I want it done properly.

Does anyone know of the best place to get this done? I'm sure I could go to a custom bike builder but they'll be charging premium rates for what is essentially quite a straight forward job.

    Am located in Sydney.

  2. The RHOK boys have some experience with that sort of thing

do a search on the SOPHIE thread

Crutch, do you guys do much welding? I consider it a "basic" job as its not structural or a complex shape, but it still needs to be straight and clean job.
