  1. Adventure-tourer or adventure-poseur? Problems with the new V-Strom.

  2. It's an overpriced dual sport but a nice reliable machine
  3. I'm not sure about the overpriced part, given the price of a BMW R1200Gs or Ducati Multistrada.

  4. I rode the new '14 1000, it feels alot smaller up front, has more of a minimal feel to it. Buffeting was terrible, I'm 6ft. Weight wise is around the same as my 650 '12. From the handlebars back looks ok but the head light assembly is ugly. Bike also needs a spoked rims option and a front fender lift.
  5. I think over all it's a balanced do it everything bike, but the spoke wheel should be an option
  6. I've only ridden the old Vstrom 1000. I can't say I was overly impressed, it certainly didn't make me want to trade the Bandit.

But the new one intrigues me. When I get to a Suzuki dealer I'll check it out.
