Suzuki naked GSR 600 Stunt Cage

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by 53degrees, Feb 28, 2008.

  1. Does anyone know where I can obtain a stunt cage for this bike, engine is a gsxr 600, any help wold be appreciated.

  2. Whats a stunt cage?
  3. bolts to engine mounts and the cage protects the engine from crash damage
  4. like this ..
    [IMG] .. only better .
  5. go to a boilmaker/enginering place get em to make u one

probaly be cheaper than buying one and having it shiped
  6. That is for sure; my engine protection bars (as pictured) came from Renntec in the UK and cost $100 for the bars and another $100 for freight . Good, though....
  7. Considering there'd be minimum four hours work to get bars looking as good as the ones in Paul's photo, and that an engineering shop will charge minimum $70/hr, I suggest you just buy some...........
The days of $15hr trade work died out sometime in the very early 80's.............

    Regards, Andrew.
  8. find a guy called corey aka ooofreestyle
  9. nah more like 2-3 hours.
    $20 for materials
spray can paint (it is a stunt bike)

maybe im just lucky my boilmaker mates works for 20$ an hour (apprentice wages aye)
but even at $50-70 x4 hours, it will be comparable to hornets $200 shipped from england (which btw i reckon is a good deal anyway)

but its worth looking at especaily if he cant find any for his model
