Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by imagone, Dec 15, 2006.

  1. hi all, just wandering if there are any good workshops specialising in motorcycle suspension set-ups in sydney. have searched but found nothing. any help would be appreciated.

    cheers
  2. Biketech. Campbelltown from memory meant to be good

And there is a guy out at Walacia. Forget his name, but he is meant ot be very good.
  3. thanks for that , just seems like all the shops are in victoria!
  5. Ok. Shock treatment is at Wallacia. Also known as Racetech.

So now I am confused, because I'm not sure if this is who I was thinking of.

I had a persons name. It's on a piece of paper at home somwhere. Still might be the same person.

    And it's biketek at Lurnea
  6. Would these places be able to help with lowering a bike for a shorter rider?

G/f now wants to get a bike when I get mine and she's 5'3". I've seen much discussion about learner / 250cc bikes that would be a good fit for her, but we plan to tour eventually and would like as many options as possible.
  7. Possibly.

Also keep in mind that some newer and more popular bikes can be relatively easly lowered by replacing one of the linkages.

Others still are made from the factory in a way you can just rearrange the linkages (usually just turn one upside down) to lower the bike.

And remember that winding off preload and raising the fork legs through the tripple clamps will giv eyou quite a bit.

Having the seat cut down will give you more still
