Sunshine Coast area to practice

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' at netrider.net.au started by Marick, Apr 2, 2013.

  1. Just thought I'd post this as its a great place for new riders to practice. Its an un-developed industrial estate with only a few buildings. A few roundabouts, some nice straight stretches and easy corners and the roads are wide.

  2. That is exactly where I took my girlfriend for her first time ever on a bike. I would ride the bike there, she follow in the car, then she would ride around there, using some tennis balls cut in half as witches hats.
We did about 4 "lessons" before venturing elsewhere, starting the ride in that estate, then moving out towards traffic slowly.

Great place for it, very wide roads, good surface, basically zero traffic.
