Stuck brake piston (cbr25rr)

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by Motobike_Mike, Feb 18, 2009.

  1. I am trying to fix my brothers brakes. He has a CBR250RR, and on one of the front brake calipers the piston is sticking. I have taken the caliper off and gave it a good clean, but it doesn't seem to have done much. It seems that it mostly sticks when it has to change direction, ie if you push it in, then try to push it out, it sticks, once you push it out a little, it seems to move ok.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on, or how I can fix it?
