Stolen bike.

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by Heretic6, Jul 31, 2006.

  1. My bike has been stolen.
    Its a Blue Yamaha YZF600r 1994 model.
Was stolen at Loftus street Wollongong nsw.
Probably around 11.00pm - 6.00 am on the 30th-31st july.
    Rego plate TPZ 70.
The bike has no distinguishing features just a scratched alternator cover. Its completly stock.

Any way I hope people could keep an eye out for it.
I havent seen too many YZF600r aorund, I just wonder why they would take the bike its not the pretiest thing around, its big and heavy.

If any one sees the bike please contact me.
    Thanks.

  4. Nah didn't have insurance, so it sucks even more.
There goes my myth that the only bikes that are stolen are new 600's and R1's.
Man its now back to catching the bus.

  7. If I see the bike, I'll ask the rider if they know what netrider is, and if the answer is "No", I'll stab 'em for ya.

  17. That SUCKS !!!!!! Sorry man, I know how you feel (still missing my R1 :( )

I've had enough of this, it's time someone started doing something. Maybe we can have a stolen bike register with frame & engine numbers and distinguishing features?

  18. Good news people, the cops called me yesterday at about 1am. They found my bike, they towed it back to the impound lot and I'll have to call them tomorow to see when I can pick it up.
    Good stuff.

  20. Good to hear that they found your bike mate, I hope it's as you left it.

This should be good enough reason to get insurance now.
