sticker removal

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by Ajawi, Sep 29, 2005.

  1. Suggestions on how to remove the ZZR sticker from my fairing. Had the other fairing painted (some scratches is all) and they took off the sticker. I want to take the other sticker off. Guy said something about a heat gun. any ideas on how to do it at home? a hair dryer maybe??

  2. As long as there isnt clear coat over the top of it... go to it with a hairdryer (or leave it in the hot sun for a while), and it should peel off almost in one piece. Once it's off... time for some Big Kev's Goo Remover or citris based sticky goo remover.
  3. Another suggestion I have is to use the forum search function and find the 4 or 5 other threads on this subject.
  4. Thanks Koma, and thanks Foxy, I'll try the search, shoulda figured there'd be one just didn't see the tiny writing (that'll do for an excuse this time).
