Stainless steel welding

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by jon cox, Jan 27, 2013.

  1. Does anyone know of someone who stainless welds in western suburbs (nr west Footscray). Need a pipe cutting and welding.

  2. Google it, TIG welding western suburbs,

  3. Make sure they do it properly and purge the pipe before welding it, otherwise you'll end up with horrible, oxidised, porous welds. - They might not show from the outside but they'll start rusting a hell of a lot sooner than purged welds.

The average sheetmetal shop owner is a money-grubbing bastard who will try to do it as quickly and cheaply as possible. Don't let him.
