spools for swing arm on Honda CB400

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' started by Ascanio, Feb 25, 2012.

  1. Hi,

Sorry if this is a noob dumb question, as it's coming from a dumb noob, are there holes on the swing arm of a Honda CB400 (2008 model) for screwing in spools for use with a motorcycle rear wheel stand, or do I have to get the flat platform type which lifts the bike up under the swing arms? I can't seem to see any suitable holes for screwing in the spools.

  2. Hi Ascanio

There are no spool holes on the CB400 so you have to get the flat platforms. If you haven't bought your stands yet have a look at Kaneg. They are pretty good and they have flat platforms which work very well.
  3. Thanks for the quick response
  4. Does anyone know if the Renntec stand ( http://www.moovamoto.com ) is compatible with the CB400?

Otherwise I was looking at the anderson racing space saver, any recommendations?
  5. Dunno, I just use the Aldi one for mine, works perfectly.
  6. I've got an anderson. Great stand. Very solid build and you get both pickups. Not cheap though.
