Speedometer cable?

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by banditbob, Dec 21, 2006.

  1. I just bought my bike second hand (fzx250) and as I was riding to mt tamborine my speedo died on me.

When I got back to brisbane a mate of mine pointed out a lose cable connecting to the front wheel. He said I need a new cable to connect inside this loose cable as it had fallen out.

So does anyone kno what cable this is? Are they cheap and easy to install?

  2. It seems you've lost the inner speedo cable. You will need to buy a complete speedo cable, both inner and outer, that's just the way they come, For my bike under $30. Easy to fit? yep. Usually screws onto the back of the instrument panel, if your not sure perhaps a local NR can help.
