Hello everyone Up for sale is my humble Suzuki Across, built 1995 and I have had it since my learners in 2007. It has seen better days...scratches here and there and has been dropped before by myself, however only when parking during clumsy moments. Other than that, it is in pretty good shape. Runs mechanically well, being a 250 it does lack power but enough to learn on. Great bike to start up on and being bigger bike for a 250, it helps with transitioning to larger ones. It is not registered as I could only afford to register one bike. It has been off the road for a year and garaged since. Has been started up occasionally to keep things lubricated. Just replaced chain and sprockets, rear wheel bearings and head stem bearings. Near new tyres and has been regularly serviced. Cam chain was checked and still good with valve clearance also checked and shims replaced where necessary. Carb needle holders were replaced 2 or so years ago and carbies were cleaned with kerosene. Brakes are still good with plenty of meat. Downside is that it has done a lot of kilometres. It has clocked itself and currently sits at 22,213km, plus 100,000km...so a lot of travel for a little 250cc. Most of the km were from highway riding, as I travelled 100km a day for 5 days a week for about 4 years. It is sold as is for $1500, no RWC.
