Up for sale is my beloved Suzuki GS850G, just out of rego and ready for renewal. I'm selling because I already have two cars and two bikes and this one gets used the least. All lights work, the fuel gauge works and she starts first time every time. The fuel economy is good at about 5L/100km and she blows no smoke. No expense has been spared on the old girl during the time I've had her, with new stator, carb rubbers and fresh Unifilter air filter element and cage. The shocks are new, adjustable, reserviour units that ride nicely and the seat is freshly recovered. The mirrors are new, fitted recently after the original ones cracked. Speedo and tripometer work as does the tacho and backlighting. The grips have been recently replaced with foam-grip units that are warm for winter riding and comfortable long distance. There is a rear GearSack rack fitted which has a matching packbag for it. Both are in good condition, although the bag is faded. There is currently a milk crate fitted to the rack that is good for carrying shopping or if you don't want to wear a backpack. Regular maintenance includes engine oil every 3000km, last done 500km ago along with filter, and the rear gear drive oil about 1000km ago. Air filter recently replaced and oiled. Tyres are Bridgestone Roadriders with 80% tread. There has been a new master cylinder (the one in pictures) fitted to improve the braking, along with new fluid in the last 6 months front and rear. The bike comes with a spare choke cable, spark plugs and clutch springs but needs none fitted to run and ride. The only bad points are cosmetic, with the lefthand sidecover repaired after being cracked along its length, the instrument cluster housing being old (I've covered it in black duct tape to make it look neater) and the tank being a little rough in some places but overall not too bad. The alloy is a little faded but all undamaged and could be polished up if you're keen. The sidecover chrome is in good condition. She rides very nicely, very smooth and almost no vibration. Quite quick for an older bike and very comfortable two-up, its really good fun to blast along with people riding plastic fantastics! I can organise a pinkslip or unregistered vehicle permit for anyone needing it, it'll pass anywhere with no worries. I'm chasing $2000 but am negotiable.
