Softening kevlar lining?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by 6ixxer, Feb 4, 2009.

  1. Hi,

I've had my draggins for a couple of years now, and they've seen a lot of saddle time, mostly commuting.

The kevlar lining used to be nice and plush in the beginning, but now its more compressed and scratchy.

Anyone else experienced the same? Did you find a way to rejuvenate it :?:

I find that I really only ride in my cordura overpants these days for the comfort of my derriere, although its so hot that I can't wear much under them and I still sweat like crazy (I originally bought the overpants as waterproof winter gear).

  2. Grab some fabric softener and put it in the wash with it. Do it a few times and it should help (did heaps with mine)
