Shoei XR1100 or Carbon RSR2?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by robeel, Feb 23, 2011.

  1. anyone reccomend one over the other?

shoei felt a little better except smaller cheekpads will be needed & visor system felt better on shoei, shark had a bit more room though.

with the shoei, can you just buy/add the anti fog lense or do you have to buy another special clear visor as well? how does that work?

can accessories for the shoei be bought cheaper from overseas? where from?

  2. I say Takamii, you will love it for it's lightness.
  3. Look at takamii they are great. For anti fog look into cat crap.

  4. But he's interested in the xr-1100, not the obsolete xr-1000.

Both the xr1000 and the RSR2 have the max 5 star rating on that site. Only diff I can see is the Shark is less expensive and lighter by about 200g. As they say on that site, the fit to a particular head is the key factor in making this sort of choice.
  5. My bad, didn't notice the '1'.
    Disregard comment above post.
