Service Dpt. Email Question

    If true, the mind boggles!

    Good day to you my dear chap,
    After riding around on a c90 for the last 15 years I decided to treat myself to a Bandit (Ive a big c0ck have you?) 1250. I have also bought a genuine workshop manual to go with it.
    Reading in there it says the valve check is at 16000 miles.
    I thought I would check this early (2000 miles) just to be safe. I have no mechanical experience (well I once took a wheel of a wheel barrow but it never went back on) but I have pulled the cam cover off only rounding a couple of bolts. The valve check looks easy in the book but the problem I have is where to put the book while doing the job?

    Do your mechanics have a special stand for this and do you know where sells them.
