Scott's Motorcycles and the 06 Spada

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' at netrider.net.au started by Kaer, Jul 24, 2006.

  1. Was helping a mate check out Spada's and VTR's on the weekend, we stopped off at Scott's on the way.

Sales guy helpfully pointed him at the Spada, pointing out it was a 2006 model.

I broke out laughing, and told the sales guy not to pull that crap. I know the Spada was only made in 89, and he's talking about the year the compliance plate went on.

Was a dodgy job as well, rims had been replaced with a VTR's, tank totally resprayed, with the wrong sticker replacing it.

Plus even more hilarious, they were asking $5,000 for it.

Walked away laughing. Didn't really matter though, I'm sure they'll sell it soon enough.
  2. '06 Spada for $5,000??? Bargain, I'll take it
  3. ohhh dear!!!
  4. Bahaha what tools! Trying it with a CBRRRRrrrrr is bad enough, at least that was a bike from last decade.. but the Spada. Somebody should get fair trading or something on these twits.
