sandblasting & powdercoating rearsets

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by synrgy, Jan 3, 2010.

  1. Im looking to get my rearsets powercoated black. The last owner sprayed them but its now chipping off, i have stripped them with paint stripper and read somewhere they need to be sandblasted before powdercoating or it wont stick properly.

The powder coater near me says he doesnt sandblast.

Does anyone know a place in sydney or has had this done before they can recommend ?
  2. that's weird. All the coaters around here do their own stripping. Either abrasive or chemical. Hit the yellow pages and find someone that does it in-house would be my advice.

  3. give me a buzz if you like
we dont do alot of powder coating but have all the gear
