[SA] Adelaide: Greenhill Rd (Between Yarabee Rd and Hallett Rd)

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' started by blerko, Jul 7, 2011.

  1. ABC are reporting a diesel spill for about 4kms on Greenhill Rd between Yarabee Rd and Hallett Rd. It apparently caught a few cars out in the early morning with them skidding into the rock faces, but no reports of bikes thankfully. Conditions reportedly so slippery that pushbikes couldn't get up the hill because of lack of traction
It's being bypassed and cleaned up now, but I would hazard a guess that with Adelaide's damp conditions, it may still be best to avoid on two wheels for quite a few days yet.
