RWC in Melbourne?

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by nnila, May 31, 2013.

  1. Hi all,
My motorbike should be arriving into Melbourne from the UK fairly soon.

I need to get a certificate of Roadworthiness for it or something I believe?
Anyone know any good/cheap places to do it? Are they all fixed price or does it vary from place to place?

I'm living around Middle Park, South Melbourne so would prefer somewhere in this area.

  2. Kennedy's Mechanical Repairs, Kororoit Ck Rd, Williamstown - about 20 mins from Mid P, over the bridge. Very reasonable price and great service. Business specialises in cars, has done rwc on bikes for years (is a rider) - although it's been a while since I've used them, may have dropped the bike rwc's since I was last there - worth checking them out though.
  3. Just to be sure - is this bike a UK spec import?

You may want to check that it has a transferable compliance on it too - then RWC - then get it registered.
