[Split off from the PMR thread coz it doesn't really belong in there. That thead is for the PMR, not my rubbish! ] Thanks 665! I've been told by one of my mates that I'm being too hard on myself. He said to me "You've been riding for just over two weeks now, what do you expect? To be cornering like Mick Doohan?" - which is a fair point He also said that it sounded like I learned a lot from the experience, and if I can learn that much without damaging me, or the bike, then it's a cheap lesson at half the price! I'm planning on taking a run up through Whittlesea to Kinglake and back to travel some GENTLE twists and turns. It's a route I know well from the car, so there won't be much in the way of surprises and I can work on my cornering technique. Look through the corner, control the throttle, RELAX.... If I get REALLY adventurous, I might even re-run the route using the alternate twistier route! I suspect if I do this, it'll be a much slower ride, but you know what - that's ok! Should make for an interesting ride either way.
