running rough gsx 250

  1. hi all,
    my gsx250 twin misses at around 6-7000 rpm i put pod filters on it,i dont know if it did it before as i never rode it before i changed em,could this be the problem maybe needs rejetting,its really bad in top gear when trying to cruise at free way speeds whats your thoughts

  2. Yep pod filters will do that. You need to rejet. Can I ask why? You should only go to pods if you have a new cam, pipes etc. You may end up chasing tail for a long time and still not get the right results.
  3. i put pods on cause i gutted the frame for the cafe racer look.it has a 2 into 1 exhaust.

    The only thing I would do different is set the float height before selecting the main jet.
