Rspeed 1 piece jacket 54 euro I got given an RSpeed 1 piece race suit to test out. It looks the part, nice white and black colour scheme, soft leather with nice stitching. The best part is that it actually fits me! I'm pretty stocky (175cm, 97kgs) when I was buying my gear that I have now I found alot of brands didn't fit, especially one pieces. It was always the legs were too long. I decided to test it on a track day at Eastern Creek raceway In Sydney. Its very comfortable to wear, I rode to and from the track in the suit and never took it off all day. I'm used to wearing a 2 piece suit where I can remove the jacket, I was expecting the 1 price to be annoying and intrusive when off the bike but it wasn't. I even did a fair bit of mechanical work between sessions while wearing it. I took it out for the first session on my bike and I was expecting the suit to be fairly stiff since it was brand new. To my surprise the movement was great straight off the bat. Throw the knee out and the oddly shaped slider skimmed along beautifully. I felt right at home in the suit and to be honest didn't notice anything about it while riding which is exactly what you want. The airflow when riding is great and the suit feels light to wear. The quality of the suit seems good, my personal perception of safety isn't as high as when wearing my astars mx1, it doesn't feel as solid. I like most of the styling, i like the colour scheme but I'm not a big fan of graphics, I think they sell the suit short. Pros - very comfortable - good range of movement on the bike, never felt restricted - the knee sliders are perfectly placed and the angles are spot on, it felt very natural dragging the knee on it. - good airflow when on the bike - the suit was very quick to "break in" Cons - the calf zippers were digging into my ankles and hurt alot, i still had indents on my skin the next day. - very hot to wear off the bike - I don't like the Velcro attachment for the lining at the feet and hands it always comes out when you remove the suit and can be hard to get your arms through it especially when your in a hurry and hot and sweaty. Overall I was very impressed with the suit.
