Rjays back protector

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by albonator316, Jun 14, 2007.

  1. I'm looking at buying an Rjays back protector from Ebay from what seems to be a reliable seller (100% pos feedback).
He is selling this type of back protector:

Anyone have any insight into back protectors and why i should or should not go for this type?

  2. Hey albonator316

You may have seen my recent post

but I have had an accident where I got rammed by a car doing 100kmh from behind and thrown for abot 20 metres. I now have crushed vertabrae and have to see a spinal specialist to work out what to do for my recovery, surgery or whatever. I am off work now for 3 months but lucky to be alive and not paralised.

The back protector looks great to me I didn't have one at the time off my accident but I had every other item of protection. I am definately going to get one when I have recovered and the Rjays gear is pretty good stuff.

I can't really comment of the different brands but just get it, especially if you are getting it cheap on ebay
  3. I think the best thing to do is go try one on.

Once you find the size/model you like, look at the new price and take it into consideration when buying off ebay.

If it's in good nick, with a little wear but no damage then it should be fine.
  4. I have one and it's alright for me. They're only $99 brand new so make sure you are getting a good deal if getting one from eBay.
  5. I picked one up a few months ago $99.00 and u dont even know its there u just gotta get the right size which means try one on first
