Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by carolf_au, Dec 3, 2007.

  1. For those Brisbane Honda riders and Pro Honda customers, it is with great sadness and many tears that I let you know of the passing of Guido.

He died doing what he loved best - riding 'Bron.'

    We'll miss you heaps Guido.

Information on a Motorcycle Guard of Honour and service details will be added when known.
  2. Carol, so sorry to hear of the loss of someone you obviously knew and cared about. :(

    RIP fallen rider.
  3. Thanks Cookee. To me he was a little ray of sunshine when I walked into Pro Honda. Even when he was busy, I'd get a wave and a smile!

He's going to be missed by everyone who knew him well.
  4. RIP to a fellow rider :(

    May he keep riding..

Condolence to you Carole, in addition to his immediate/extended family
    & friends.

    Much too young

  6. Guido was an absolutely awesome bloke

Funeral is this thursday, please call Pro Honda for details, they are looking for a motorcycling guard of honour.
I can't ride or drive, trying to source a lift
  7. Thanks Browny, MG.

Tanya I'm sure someone at one of the Pro Motorcycle branches could help you find a lift.

First time we've lost a friend, sure has hit hard. Had to call my brother with the news, he's known Guido longer than me. Never an easy thing to do.

Ride safe everyone, ride to live.
  8. My condolences to Guido's Family, Pro Honda family and to all that knew him.

I didnt know him, but any fallen rider is a sad day.
  9. Goodbye my friend. Thanks for the memories and thanks for the laughs. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. My wife and I love you very much. You will always be riding with us......

    Thanks - Paul (aka Kroeb)
  15. My thoughts will be with you all on the day. :(
  16. Guido was farewelled in grand style yesterday - an escort of more than 60 bikes led him to his final resting place.

Thank you to everyone who has expressed their condolences either here or at Pro Honda. Your kind thoughts have helped many people make it thru the last week.

    Ride safe everyone.
  17. Must've been a very solemn ride. None of the usual group ride antics.
