riding with no arms

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by Willzah, Dec 18, 2009.

  1. I don't know about no arms, but many people here may know Alan Zimmer who used to be pretty regular at Friday nights.

Alan lost an arm (at the shoulder) in an encounter with a 4WD that came round a corner on the wrong side. He was tested and got his licence back and he's riding a KLR650 with an auto clutch (Rekluse I think?) modified with everything on the left - all done one armed (he doesn't have an artifical arm as yet).

He did the Toy run last weekend in one of his first longer rides.

  2. yeh hes got 1 good arm, but this dude has no arms
  3. well lets hope his riding improves before he loses his legs as well
  4. Wow, he's really embraced motorcycling...
  5. Poor guy, they should leave him alone. After all - he's not 'arming anyone...
  6. Now that is dedication.
  7. I didn't know about Al... What a bugger. Hopefully we'll see him down at coffee again one of these days.

As for the other bloke, I reckon any man who gets on a motorcycle with no arms at all is a man not to be f*cked with, I wouldn't be asking him any stupid questions.
  8. Why do I keep thinking of the Black Knight?
  9. Wow...

I have enough trouble riding as it is and I have two arms...
  10. Come back, it's just a flesh wound! I'll bite ya!

=D> Good on him I reckon. ****ing pigs always picking on the little guy.
