Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' started by Smoovie, Mar 16, 2015.

  1. Hi all,

Recently got my L's and am looking to purchase my first ride.

I've got my heart set on a CB400. Just need to find the right one.

Looking forward to learning, riding and enjoying a new (albeit) expensive hobby.

  2. Welcome to NR.....
  3. Welcome Smoovie
  4. So I've managed to buy myself a 2011 CB400. Picked up last Saturday and i'm enjoying every minute on it.

Will post up some pics shortly.
  5. Welcome to NR.. Awesome choice in bike :)
  6. Well done Smoobie! Enjoy your riding look forward to pics! :)
  7. Nice bike..
  8. Plenty of choices out there. Enjoy what you get and stay safe
  9. Welcome. The CB400 is a great noob bike. Can't kill one. This is a cheap hobby compared to some, particularly once you have the bike purchase out of the way.
  10. welcome aboard :]
  11. And here she is.....

This picture doesn't actually do her justice, the white is actually metallic and looks great in the flesh.

I've since fitted the small windscreen.

  13. Nice looking bike mate. Welcome to NR
  14. I've been doing some light reading on-line and i'm lead to believe that the colour scheme on my bike is a limited edition?

    Can anyone confirm this?
  15. SmoovieSmoovie you would be correct in your assumption. The red framed CB400 was indeed a Special Edition model.

From what i can tell the red frame CB400 was a Japan only release but I'd need to read more to confirm that.
  16. Hmm, I'd hope that it isn't a grey import!
  17. Here's some INFO for you.
