Riding in cross winds

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by spada89, Sep 26, 2008.

  1. Any genuine tips on riding in crosswinds.

Over the ANZAC bridge,Iron Cove and Gladesville bridges, I find the gusts of crosswinds very nasty.

And I wouldn't want a $280 fine for negligent riding if I came off.

In your collective experiences, do faired and unfaired bikes behave differently?

Let me state upfront... I am not going to put on weight or put an elephant on the back... or buy a XYZ1400A or H1200D or.... I wouldn't be able to lift those things if they fell on me.

  2. Thanks VCM

Obviously my bag of experience had blown away in the wind at 3 am but I did get lucky in having you respond.

Much appreciated and may the force be behind you
  3. Cheers! :)
