Riding from Beaudesert to Grafton.

Discussion in 'Roads, Touring, Journeys, and Travel' started by The Circus Midget, Dec 6, 2012.

  1. Riding from Beaudesert to Grafton on Saturday, I'm looking to have some fun on the way down. I'm on a schedule, I need to be in Grafton by 11am. I was thinking Mt Lindsay hwy, turn onto innisplain rd and follow to Summerland way, then onto Kyogle, Casino down to Grafton. Any better suggestions?

  2. can only suggest you run 'Gradys Creek Rd, Lions Rd & Running creek Rd as well......

Ooops, weird shit happeining with my puta...sorry
  4. It's the site, not your Peter. If you get an error's message when replying to a post ignore it and don't resubmit.
  5. Peter = Puter. Auto suggest.
  6. didnt think there was anythin' wrong wif my 'Peter'........looked twice ya had me worried...
  7. Sounds like a good plan. Do the lions rd on the way back to and void the Pacific highway altogether. Let us know what the road conditions are like, im heading that way in the next few weeks.
  8. I'm not recommending Lions rd to anyone. While it has some good sections, I found d it to be a pot holed, bumpy mess of a road. Random cattle on the road, there are a number of unsealed sections through the ranges, and did I mention the potholes and the bumps?
It seemed to widen out on the NSW side, and the cars we encountered actually pulled over to let us through. I think the worst part was the dirt sections through the road works, it was very slippery even in the dry.
  9. Lions road has roadworks from the boarder till 5-10 kms south. All dirt road atm. Thats how it it was last weekend, so don't think it wll be much better now.
