  1. Hey guys,
Just wondering.. Is it legal? What's the fine/points lost?

By the way, I'm talking about when you're stuck at lights and you go through the middle (or on the side) to get in front of all the traffic..

  2. NO.
Do it at your own risk.

Cops could get you for not indicating, passing on the left, dangerous riding, being a bikie or anything else they feel like.
  3. This is known as filtering, there are a lot of threads discussing it. Do a search to find them. It is a common belief that it should be legal but at the moment it is not.
  4. No, its completly legal. Police are happy for you to do it and people in cars will give u a thumbs up if you filter to the front and rev your engine. Bikers that are highly regarded in society filter to front of a p plater in a ute, and take off slowly. They will beep at you, but dont worry all they are doing is thanking you for saving them from speeding :)
Families in cars will nod in approval if you filter at high speed. You will get extra credit for doing it on the back wheel.
