REVS Certificate

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by VladTepes, Nov 3, 2011.

  1. I'm purchasing a bike.

In Qld, how can I go about getting a REVS check done immediately (eg on the day of payment)?

The Dept of Fair Trading will only send one by mail (takes forever) or fax (who the hell has one of those anymore) no email.

The online ones all seem geared towards cages rather than bikes.

What's the best way of going about this ?
  2. Try contacting the online providers that Qld Dept of F.T. calls 'REVS Brokers' and see if they will do bikes and what info they need. I am sure it can be done otherwise there is a market begging to be tapped into right there.

  3. The ones I've contacted have both said 'We are geared towards cars rather than motorcycles" whjatever that means.
  4. When I bought my first bike back in 2008, I just called, paid by credit card over the phone and was told a result there and then...can't have changed that much?
