Revamped 2013 Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 Spotted

  1. The operative word seems to be "Sport".

According to the article, the spy photo shows that there's a single-sided swingarm, new wheels and a restyle, including the rear subframe. It does look a fair bit sharper.

Better headlights and suspension are a common wish of current Tiger 1050 owners, but down to nearly every last one, they also absolutely love them.

With the 1200 Explorer just out, it makes sense to get the 1050 Tiger sportied up some and ditch the already very slight offroad pretensions in favour of outright road performance.

Seemingly no word yet on any detail other than the one photo, but the full list of improvements should be good reading.

If Triumph's recent form is anything to go by, it sounds like it could be an excellent all-rounder with plenty of poke.

  2. Looks like it's the companies new sports tourer, replacing the now discontinued Sprint ST.
