Renntec engine bars

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by hornet, Apr 16, 2005.

  1. I have just bought a set of Renntec engine bars from www.renntec.co.uk, expect them in the next week or two.
Low speed trip and fall last week cost me a skinned knee and $232 worth of bits, bulk of which was the lower right hand engine cover, bars cost $292 Australian including freight from England, on my crude maths, that's good insurance.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone with experience with these products, and I expect the "mad scratchers" will say that they'll limit ground clearance in cornering, but since the lower engine cases are the first thing to hit the ground, and cost lost of money, on balance I think they are a good choice, for me anyway.

  2. Liink no workie....
  3. Just remove the comma at the end
