Remus Exhaust- Baffle stuck

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by BiX, Jun 30, 2006.

  1. I fitted a Remus Revolution to my sv650 a few weekends ago. It sounds very nice, but was going to take the baffle out to see what it sounds like without it. The isntructions say remove the pop rivet and then remove the baffle. I have drilled out the pop rivet at the end of the pipe, but the baffle won't come out? do i have to remove the end of the can? or is there another pop rivet that i missed? or even should i just use more force?

  2. A few weeks of running will allow carbon to coat everything inside it mate

WD 40 all the joints and try a bit more force would be my suggestion but do not start to bend metal in an effort to get it out

Also check that there is not two rivets holding it in one at inlet aand one at exhaust
