Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' at netrider.net.au started by gsxr1000ben, Jul 2, 2010.

  1. Hi guys what would be the best way of removing a Stick on tank protector? The guy who had the bike before put it to low, my jacket still rubs the tank..

  3. quoted for truth.
if you don't have access to a heatgun, try stealing your gf's hairdryer and waving it over until the adhesive has softened

  6. Just try pulling it off first. Mine seemed really stuck on well. But once I got a corner up the rest came really easily. It was a Kieti. Looks like I could stick it back on now weeks after I removed it - if you like it, you could probably just move it to the position you like.

    Good luck.
