Removing left side crankcase cover

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by rodgonzbea, Jun 11, 2010.

  1. Hello dear peoples.. Following on some advice from fellow netriders, as Im trying to fix a charging problem, I have been advised to check the pick up coil. To do that I must first remove the cover on the left side.
So far, I have taken all the screws off, and a knob at the top, and the cover doesn't come off... there is what looks like a big slot (screw?) in the middle.. do I need to take that off? manual just sez "remove cover""

    How do I do it?

  2. Don't ask me, but I suspect you are more likely to get some help from someone who knows if you let people know what sort of bike we are talking about.

I assume it is a bike we are talking about???
