removal final drive flange nsr 150

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by nicka9x, Aug 16, 2009.

  1. The final drive flange seems to be loctite onto the rear axle. I have used a bearing puller but it wont budge. Should I heat it up to loosen the loctite or is there another way around this.

  2. Finally removed the final drive off the axle. Used a larger 150mm bearing puller and I machined a adptor to sit inside the axle to keep the puller straight. However I discovered that the studs on the final drive hub that insert into the flange were sheared off. Has anyone experienced this happening to them?
