NSW Register a trail bike

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by Senator17, Feb 17, 2015.

  1. Does anyone know if it is possible to register a trail bike that does not have a compliance plate? In NSW. IF it can be registered, how do I go about getting it done?

  2. Did it ever have a comp plate ? What model is it ?

  4. Bikes built after 1988 need a compliance plate attached to the chassis before they meet the ADR's (a requirement by all states for registration)
  5. There are some oddball offroaders that were ADR complied by Bert Floods over the years,eg converted Honda MX models with the usual lights.Big costs for this back then. What model bike have you got.
  6. It's a Chinese copy of a Honda CRF250
  7. Not exactly a Woodys CR 250 2 stoke from the 90s,there wasn't much around then that was competitive back then so some shops did the ADR testing through Bert Floods shop.If that model haunt been through the ADR testing not much hope, costs a lot to do.Have you asked the distributors.
  8. No chance mate
