I had my xs650 re jetted, due to different pipes and pod filters, so far so good, until I took the plugs out, left cylinder seems to be running slightly leaner, and to make matters worse, the right plug, has what seems small tiny specks of what seems alluminium around the electrode which you cant see in the picture, im running 98 octane and cant hear any pinging as far as my ears are concerned, question is, how are my plugs? my friend reckons its slightly lean, just need a second opinion, so I can go get it re jetted once again.
  2. Hard to read plugs properly with unleaded fuel.
  3. +1, but still not impossible.

For best results, you really need new plugs so you're not being confused by the residue of old problems. Chuck in a new set and have another go.

At least you haven't got The Bone White Plugs of Doom :) .
  4. Will do, I think ill go colder plugs this time and see how it goes.
