R1 front end wobble with pillion, Suspension Adjustment?

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by karl2ltgc, Aug 9, 2008.

  1. I just noticed today I took the missus out for lunch and at low speeds i get the front bars sorta doing a headshake thing. I went up one click on my steering damper an rode the rear brake some more when going slow an problems solved, but im just wondering what the cause of the problem is?

Should i adjust shocks to suit a pillion?
    Cheers Karl

  2. Easy fixed adjust the shock..Or if you real game tell the wife to loose some weight ... maybe safer to adjust the suspenders
  3. Which way adjust?
Its ok shes my girlfriend not wife so i can just dump her an keep the bike :D
Problem aint realy her but the fact that im a lightweight an shes taller than me :)
  4. It all depends on weight check your owners manual for setting go to standard setting and work from there.
